Hundreds of hiking and biking kilometers between Zell, Gerlos, and Königsleiten/Wald are there for your mountain adventures!
Climbing Trail Gerlosstein
The Alpine Climbing Trail is another chance for us to introduce active, nature-loving people of all ages to our beautiful mountains. With the right equipment and its correct use the climbing of a trail is possible for everybody: secured by a continuous steel rope from start to finish you climb upwards, using artificial holds and steps combined with natural holds. Climbing trails are a lasting mountain sport trend in the Alps and let hikers venture into the vertical world.
Arena Skyliner - not for the faint of heart!
The Arena Skyliner, a new flying device and an advanced version of the Flying Fox, offers all Arena visitors even more fun, action, and an unforgettable bird's eye view! The Arena Skyliner includes 4 routes with a length of up to 738 m and hurtles across the Gerlosstein area with a maximum speed of 50 km/h. The start is right next to the Mountain Hotel Gerlosstein.
Leisure Park Zell
On an area of more than 45,000 m² you can find lots of ways to pass the time: swimming pool, giant slide, children's pool, children's adventure playground, the Zillertal's first beach volleyball court, in- and outdoor tennis courts, crazy golf, football, fun court (volley-, street- and basketball) - as well as the Garden of the Senses. The restaurant-café "Reiter im Park" with a panoramic view of the Zillertal mountains provides you with food and drink.

SILVER MINE SCHWAZ
Experience a fascinating adventure below ground in the silver mine in Schwaz. The exciting journey back into the medieval past starts with an early highlight: the ride 800 m into the Sigmund tunnel, begun in 1491. The miners in Schwaz had the best know-how of the time and made Schwaz the biggest mining centre in Central Europe and the second largest locality in the Habsburg Empire.

Close by the Inn river, the medieval city of Rattenberg - the smallest in Austria - hugs the mountainside. Its 600 inhabitants live in restored town houses. Rattenberg is also called the "Glass City", offering everything that makes glass beautiful: engraved and painted glass, crystal glass, dishes, cups, bowls, etc. You can also watch glassblowers demostrate their skills.
More than 2000 animals belonging to 150 species from all over the Alps are waiting for you in the highest zoo in Europe. Animals of all sizes have found their home in the Alpine Zoo: the kinglet with its 5 grams is a real lightweight, whereas the Bearded Vulture with its 3 m wingspan is the largest bird of the Alps.
